The Myths of the Biblical Kings and Their Influence on Freemasonry

by Valley of Salem on 02/25/26

The Kings David and Solomon are well known the world over. The addition of the Kings Hiram, Cyrus, and Darius add to the great edifice, and the story of Masonry. How well do you know their stories and how they are interwoven into Masonry?

Explore this history within the Valley of Salem. Brother Alfred E. McCarthy, III, HGA is a member and officer at Essex Lodge in Salem.

Having a strong love of Masonic education, he is a graduate of the Deacons’ Academy and currently enrolled in the MLI. The ritual and history of Masonry came full force when he graduated the Hautes Grade Academy with the thesis The Myths of the Biblical Kings and Their Influence on Masonry”
